Jonathan Westwell is the Chief Risk Officer at Simpson Thacher. Jonathan is responsible for the Firm’s global approach to risk management, legal and regulatory compliance. Based in London, he has been with the Firm since 2025. Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, Jonathan was EMEA General Counsel at another international law firm and has over 15 years’ experience of leading risk management teams.
Jonathan was admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 1999.
